Welcome to the future of blockchain trading with Sierra, your AI-powered assistant within Blackfin. Sierra simplifies trading on the Solana blockchain, allowing you to execute trades using natural language commands. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to start trading with Sierra, from connecting your wallet to confirming transactions.
Integration with Jupiter: We've integrtaed with Jupiter and use Jupiter infra for processing trades with Sierra. Currently, you can trade all tokens that are available on Jupiter liquidity. So it's essential you use the search bar to locate the asset you are interested in before you start trading, as our models automatically detect the asset you're looking at in the chart for context.
Let's dive in!
Open Blackfin Sierra: Navigate to the Blackfin platform and locate the "Connect Wallet" button on the top right corner.
Select Your Wallet: Choose your preferred wallet from the list of supported wallets. We're compatible with most major wallets.
Authorise Connection: Follow the prompts to authorise Blackfin to interact with your wallet. Rest assured, Blackfin only needs permission to view your balances and execute trades you approve.
Access Sierra: Once your wallet is connected, navigate to the Sierra trading interface within Blackfin.
Search for the asset: In the search bar at the top, you can simply search using the ticker or name of the asset you're interested in
Once you have the asset, and the chart loaded and confirmed it's the asset you're interested in, you can now start executing trades using natural language.
"Buy 2 SOL of this token" [this token being the selected token in your chart]
"Sell 100,000 Bonk at market" or simply, "Sell 100,000 tokens now"
Adjusting slippage - you can include your slippage settings directly in your natural language trade execution.
"Buy 2 SOL of this token, with 2% slippage"
Sierra understands a wide range of natural language commands, so feel free to use whatever phrasing feels most natural to you - even in another language!
Sierra will interpret your command and present you with the trade details, including the amount of SOL you're trading, the token you're receiving, at the best available rate based on the Jupiter liquidity pool.
Confirm Trade in Sierra: Review the trade details for accuracy. If everything looks correct, click the "Execute Swap" button within Sierra.
Wallet Confirmation: Your wallet will prompt you to approve the transaction. This is where you officially authorise the swap.
Wait for Blockchain Confirmation: After you confirm the transaction in your wallet, Sierra will process the trade on the blockchain. This usually takes just a few seconds.
View Transaction Confirmation: Once the trade is complete, you'll receive a confirmation message within Sierra. You can also view the transaction details directly in Blackfin, providing a seamless way to track your trade history and portfolio.
Simplicity: Sierra removes the complexity of trading on the blockchain. You don't need to navigate through multiple platforms or understand the intricacies of liquidity pools and swap rates. Just tell Sierra what you want, and it handles the rest.
Flexibility: With Sierra's understanding of natural language, you're not restricted to specific command formats. This means you can interact with Sierra as you would with a human trading assistant.
Efficiency: Sierra automatically finds the best available swap rate for your trade, ensuring you get the most value out of each transaction.
Integration: By using Sierra within Blackfin, you get the added benefit of directly viewing and analysing your transaction history, all in one place. In the future we will enable you to simply ask what your PnL was for a certain trade, or what your PnL is for the month.
